Wheelchair Basketball Players to make history at Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games

Forty-seventy wheelchair basketball players will make history at Birmingham 2022 being the first to represent the sport in its debut at the Commonwealth Games.

 

The players will represent 8 countries in the 3×3 wheelchair basketball competition which will take the world stage for the first time in an integrated programme with running 3×3 basketball for the first time.

 

Six men’s teams – AustraliaEnglandCanadaNorthern IrelandMalaysia and South Africa – and six women’s teams –  AustraliaEnglandCanadaKenyaScotland and South Africa – will compete to be on the podium.
