LAHORE (August 15, 2022): Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi has said that freedom is a great blessing, and we should be grateful to Allah, the Almighty. Sports Board Punjab is organizing 11 sports events on the occasion of Independence Day in which the youth are participating enthusiastically. He expressed these views while talking on the sidelines of the squash competitions in Jashan Azadi sports events under the auspices of Sports Board Punjab at Punjab Squash Complex Mall Road on Monday.
Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser, Chief Sports Consultant Sports Board Punjab Hafeez Bhatti, District Sports Officer Tanveer Shah and Mamoon of Squash Association were also present on this occasion.
He said the players are showing excellent performance, these events will definitely create competitive spirit among the players.
Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi distributed prizes among the players who also had group photographs with Chief Gues.
Muhammad Hasnain was the winner in the under-11 category, Joshua Tariq was the runner-up and Sohail Adnan was successful in the under-13 category while Aamir Adnan was the runner-up.
