The coveted PSF-Combaxx International Squash Tournament 2022 for Men being organized by Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) in collaboration with Combaxx Sports is all set to commence from August 24-28 at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad.
The 5-day event, which carries attractive prize money of US$ 12,000/- is also featuring international ranking players from Egypt, Iran, and Pakistan. According to Game Development Officer Flight Lt. M Atif Riaz, apart from 16 Pakistanis, as many as three international ranking players from Egypt, two from Iran, and three others from Malaysia have also confirmed their participation in this coveted tournament.
“World No 97 Khaled Labib from Egypt is top seed whereas World No 110 Noor Zaman from Pakistan is 2nd seed of the tournament”, he further informed. Two top seeds withdraw from PSF In’l Squash It is to be noted that three under-19 players from Pakistan namely Talha Saeed from Karachi, Moen-ud-Din from Rawalpindi, and M Ammad from Peshawar have also been given wildcards for this event.
Quarter Finals and semis will be played on Aug 26 and Aug 27 respectively while the grand finale is set for Aug. 28.
