The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) today revealed that the upcoming VI WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup, which opens this Friday, 26 August, in Hermosillo, Sonora, will be broadcast in five of the 13 participating nations, potentially reaching millions of viewers for the youth world championship.
Broadcast partners of the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup include networks and sports channels in the Americas and Asia:
- Mexico: Megacable, TVC Deportes
- Japan: J Sports
- Venezuela: ByM Sports, Simple TV and Meridiano Televisión
- Panama: Cable Onda
- Colombia: Canal Cartagena

The WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup will open with a three-group Opening Round from 26-30 August:
- Group A: Mexico, Chinese Taipei, Cuba and Czech Republic
- Group B: Panama, Japan, Colombia and France
- Group C: USA, South Africa, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Guam
The top two finishers of each group in the Opening Round will advance to the Super Round from 31 August to 2 September. First- and second-place finishers from the Super Round will compete for the U-15 Baseball World Title, while third- and fourth-place National Teams will play for bronze. The Finals are scheduled on 4 September.
