73rd edition of Punjab Games to get underway at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex

LAHORE (Oct 24, 2022): The 73rd edition of Punjab Games will get underway at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex on Monday, Oct 24, 2022.

Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi visited National Hockey Stadium and witnessed the march past, aerobics, gymnastics, cultural performances during dress rehearsal of Punjab Games. He also appreciated the performances of young artists.

Director Admin Syed Umair Hassan, Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser, Deputy Director Rauf Bajwa and Assistant Director Zahoor Ahmed were also with Director General Sports Punjab during his visit.

Sports Board Punjab has finalized the preparations for the 73rd edition of Punjab Games. The sports contingents from other provinces and divisions have reached Nishtar Park Sports Complex which has been decorated with colourful banners and lightings.

Director Admin Syed Umair Hassan and Director Sports Nadeem Qaiser inspected all the arrangements of the colourful opening ceremony of 73rd Punjab Games.

Sports Board Punjab, on the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi has released the list of sports disciplines and venues of 73rd edition of Punjab Games being staged with the collaboration of Punjab Olympic Association (PbOA) from Oct 24 to 27, 2022.

Director General Sports Punjab Muhammad Tariq Qureshi, in a statement on Sunday, said all the venues are ready to host exciting competitions of Punjab Games. “We are quite confident that sports lovers will enjoy the thrilling Punjab Games events at various venues of the city,” he added.
