Peshawar, Pakistan- Hockey Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced a 22-member hockey team that will represent the province in the upcoming National Games. The selection was made after a series of trials held 

yesterday in which senior hockey players from various districts of the province participated.Former IGP Saeed Khan and Syed Zahir Shah, chairman of the Hockey Association, were present during the selectio

n process. The selected players include Shoaib ` kher ullah , waleed , yasir ` jamil , hamid from bannu , Ali from Peshawar, Farman, Yasir Ali, Umar, Afraz, Waqas, Ehsan, Ahmar, Saleem, Ismail, Sameer, Salahuddin, and Salman

from Kohat, Usman from Shahid Abbottabad, Amir, Adil from Mardan, and Jameel Deer from Bonir.
The National Games are scheduled to start in the first phase of next month. The team will now begin their training camp to prepare for the competition.
