Charsadda to host sports festival on Labor Day for the first time in history

Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – The District Sports Office in Charsadda will be organizing a sports festival for labor on the occasion of International Labor Day. It will be the first time in history that such an event will take place in the district.

The festival will feature various sports competitions for workers, aiming to encourage healthy activities and raise awareness about workers’ rights. Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has instructed the organizers to prioritize the significance of the day and to make it a memorable experience for the participants.

Deputy Commissioner Charsadda, Adnan Farid, will be the chief guest for the sports festival. The event will take place at the Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex on May 1, 2023.

According to DSO Charsadda Tahsinullah, the festival’s main objective is to promote a healthy lifestyle among the workers and to recognize their contributions to the society. The event is expected to attract a large number of participants from different parts of the district.
