Khyber Pakhtunkhwa basketball team trials for National Games completed with flying colors

Peshawar – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa basketball team trials for the National Games in Quetta have been successfully completed at the Peshawar Sports Complex. More than 43 top basketball players from seven different divisions participated in the trials, with Secretary Raj Mir Khan and members of the selection committee present to oversee the proceedings.

Following the trials, a total of twenty athletes were selected for the team, and their training camp will begin at the Peshawar Sports Complex starting on Monday. Secretary Olympic Association Zulfikar Butt and Aqil Shah, the Secretary of the Basketball Association, were also present to support and encourage the players during the trials.

Syed Aqil Shah, while addressing the players, appreciated their efforts . The official announcement of the final team will be made after evaluating the players’ performance during the training camp.

According to Secretary Basketball Association Raj Mir Khan, the selection process was extremely competitive. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa basketball team is confident about their chances at the National Games and is looking forward to representing their province with pride.

The successful completion of the trials has been welcomed by the basketball community and is expected to raise the level of competition in the upcoming National Games in Quetta.
