Labor Day Sports Festival Held at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex to Promote Sports among Workers
Charsadda, May 2, 2023 – In honor of Labor Day, a sports festival was organized at the Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex in Charsadda, aimed at promoting sports among laborers.
The event was organized with the support of the district administration and the direction of DG Sports, and more than fifty child laborers enthusiastically participated in four different games.
The main objective of the sports festival was to raise awareness among working-class children and attract them towards the sports field. Charsadda, May 2, 2023 The United Shopkeepers Federation of Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, organized a Sports Festival for child laborers at Abdul Wali Khan Sports Complex on May Day. The festival aimed to promote awareness among working-class children about the importance of sports and attract them towards the field.
Hakeemullah Fuji, Salahuddin, Shiraz Khan, and other labor leaders of the United Shopkeepers Association addressed the event, stating that child laborers have hidden talents for sports and the festival would instill self-confidence in them.
The festival also provided an opportunity for children working in different markets of Charsadda to participate in athletics, cricket, musical chair, and tug-of-war competitions.
