After the defeat in the fifth and final ODI of the series against New Zealand, the Pakistan team fell to the third position in the ICC ODI rankings after two days at the number one position.

 

After defeating New Zealand in the fourth match of the 5-match series, Pakistan became number one in the ICC ODI rankings for the first time.

However, Pakistan had to win the final match of the series on Sunday to maintain their first position.

After the 47-run defeat by New Zealand in the last match of the ODI series, Pakistan has moved from the first to the third position in the ICC rankings.
