Pakistan’s Aamir Karim reached Kathmandu for the SAARC Chass Championship
PESHAWAR: Pakistan chess international player Aamir Karim will take full part in the SAARC Chess Championship held from June 14 to 20.
He reached Kathmandu, Nepal for this championship.
Athletes from all SAARC countries are participating in this mega event to be held in Kathmandu from June 14 to 20.
According to Amir Karim, he has prepared hard for this championship.
They hope to bring good name to Pakistan in this event.
In this regard, Secretary General of Pakistan Chess Federation Umar Khan has said that Pakistan Chess Federation does not have enough resources but then Pakistan’s number one and talented player Aamir Karim has been sent to Nepal for the SAARC Chess Championship by the Federation at its own expense so that he can compete in this tournament.
Can represent Pakistan in the event. Umar Khan has said that President of Pakistan Chess Federation Hanif Qureshi and the entire nation hope that Amir Karim will be able to win a medal for Pakistan in this championship. In response to a question,
Secretary General of Chess Federation Umar Khan said that chess is very popular in Pakistan, men and women and young children are also playing chess and are emerging as professional players.
He said that the Chess Federation of Pakistan is in the preparation process of holding the National Chess Championship. For this purpose, Qulaifiers are started all over the country and recently Qulaifiers for KP were held in peshawar,
resultantly teams of ten players (men) 5 players (women) will participate in the upcoming National Chess Championship.
The chess championship played by men and women, as well as children, has presented an amazing game.
