Olympic Day Celebrations at Peshawar Sports Complex Promote Archery and Athletes’ Achievements”
On the occasion of Olympic Day, a captivating ceremony took place at the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Peshawar. The Peshawar Sports Complex served as the venue for the prestigious Olympic Day ceremony, which showcased the incredible talents of archery players, including the esteemed Amjad Ali from the Olympic Association and Pakistan Archery.
The Olympic Day ceremony, organized by the Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and supported by the Pakhtunkhwa Archery Club, also saw the active participation of Sara Khan, a distinguished member of the archery federation. The event was truly a testament to the spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
In addition to the ceremony, thrilling inter-club archery competitions were held, providing a platform for archers to display their exceptional skills. Among the participants, Asrarul Haque from Khyber achieved the highest score of 635, showcasing his prowess. Wajahat Ali Khan secured an impressive score of 610, while Waqas Ahmed, Rehan, Zain, and Faisal also achieved commendable scores.
It is worth mentioning that Israul Haq, one of the talented archers, will represent Pakistan in the upcoming Asian Games. Such events not only celebrate Olympic Day on June 23 each year but also highlight the remarkable dedication and talent of athletes.
