Urgent Action Needed for Sponsorship of Archer Israrul Haq in Asian Games

In the ongoing representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the Asian Games, no concrete steps have been taken yet to secure sponsorship for the talented archer, Israrul Haq. Despite assurances from him about sponsorship being arranged for his participation in the upcoming competitions in China, the Secretary of the Archery Federation, Zulfiqar Butt, highlighted a concerning matter.

He expressed his pride in the outstanding achievements of Israrul Haq the young archer from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district, who is currently competing at the Asian Games in China. Although his exceptional performance during the National Archery Camp has earned him qualification points for the Olympics, it is deeply unfortunate that the provincial sports directorate has not yet committed any form of financial assistance, despite multiple applications submitted.

The looming uncertainty about Israrul Haq participation in the upcoming Asian Games raises a significant question mark. Immediate attention and support are imperative to ensure his successful representation on the international stage. Let’s rally together
