Concerns Raised Over New Seniority List at Provincial Sports Directorate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
A multitude of reservations have been voiced regarding the recently unveiled seniority list of employees at the Provincial Sports Directorate. These lists were issued under the directives of the newly appointed Director General of Sports in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Among the reservations expressed by employees, questions have arisen concerning the seniority of employees from the top merged districts, as well as their appointments within the sports directorate. Notably, there has been no official notification regarding the merger of the sports directorate itself.
This has raised concerns about how project employees from the merged districts are being appointed to higher positions within the directorate. Employees argue that these individuals were previously associated with the education sector in FATA.
As these seniority lists are being integrated into the sports directorate, employees also point out those senior officials from various districts, including the provincial headquarters, hold higher seniority than employees from the FATA education project.
These and other similar issues have prompted employees of the sports directorate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to express their apprehensions about the seniority list. In an effort to address their concerns, they have begun reaching out to legal experts and are considering legal challenges through the Service Tribunal and Peshawar High Court.
