7th Student Olympic Games, A Levels Girls Catchball title won by City School Derakhshan Campus

Karachi University Wins University Competition

Karachi: In the 7th Student Olympic Games, City School Derakhshan Campus won the title of Girls A Levels Catchball, Karachi University won the title in the university competitions, in the A Levels competitions of the event held at the indoor gymnasium hall of Pakistan Sports Board Karachi Center. 16 teams competed, in the A Levels final, City School Derakhshan Campus won the title by defeating Scepter College by two sets to one. In the third place match, City College Gulshan Campus defeated HI Osmania College. Easily defeated in straight sets 2-0.

Six universities of Karachi participated in the university competitions. In the final competition, Karachi University defeated TMUC University by 2-0 sets. NCA Green won the third position in the event. The catchball competition was organized by the secretary of Sindh Catchball Association, Fatima Zahra. On this occasion, Pakistan Student Olympic Association President Maqbool Arain, Karachi Student Olympic Association President Azmat Pasha, Lahore Student Olympic Association Secretary Masoom Abbas, Aqsa Hamid, Tanzeel and others were also present.

On Saturday, September 16, athletics competitions will be held at Pakistan Sports Board Karachi Center from 9 am to 5 pm, while swimming, table tennis, basketball, futsal and rope skipping competitions will be held at KMC Sports Complex. Gymnastics competition will be held at Defense and Taekwondo competition will be held at Mini Sports Complex Nazimabad.
