Pakistan Cycling Federation Elective General Council Meeting was held yesterday at Islamabad Syed Azhar Ali
Shah was Elected as 2nd time president. Barrister Adnan Ahsan khan elected SVP and Haroon General elected as General Secretary fore year 2023 to 2027.
The meeting was conducted online to ensure the safety and convenience of all participants Notable attendees included Mr. Onkar Singh, Secretary of the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), Mr. Dinayal Loy, the esteemed representative of the ACC, and Ms. Brenda from the Union Cycliste International (UCI), along with Chairman PCF Kokab Nadeem Warraich, who joined the meeting remotely. All Provincial affiliated units, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association (KPCA), Punjab Cycling Association (PCA), Sindh Cycling Association,
Baluchistan Cycling Association, and Islamabad Cycling Association, participated in the meeting, along with coaches and Commissaire Association members sui southern repenstative was absent in meeting.
The election process was conducted in-camera, and voting was done through a secret ballot to ensure transparency and integrity.Independent observers, Raja Zulfiqar Akhtar and sports journalist Mr. Shahid ul Haq, were present to oversee the proceedings and attest to their fairness.
