68th National Track Cycling Championship Set to Kick Off in Lahore

The Pakistan Cycling Federation is proud to announce the commencement of the 68th National Track Cycling Championship, scheduled to take place from November 26th to November 28th at the esteemed Cycling Velodrome in Nishtar Park, Lahore.
Teams from across the nation have already converged on Lahore, eagerly anticipating the fierce competition that lies ahead. This premier championship will bring together elite male and female athletes, alongside the promising talents of junior men and women, creating an atmosphere of sportsmanship and camaraderie.The event promises thrilling displays of skill and determination with a lineup of diverse competitions, including the Individual Time Trial in Track, Team Pursuit, Keren, Elimination, and Individual Pursuit. The excitement is further amplified as young cyclists aged fifteen and sixteen gear up to showcase their prowess in their respective categories.
Syed Azhar Ali Shah, the President of the Pakistan Cycling Federation, not only oversees the championship but also stands as its official sponsor. Mr. Shah expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the championship serves as a crucial platform for selecting the members of Pakistan’s cycling track team. These selected athletes will represent the nation at the upcoming National Cycling Championship in India, slated for February.
