Pakistan MMA Team to participate in World MMA Championship in Bangkok.
The event will be held from December 06 to 10, 2023
Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation will send four athletes to the World MMA Championship, scheduled to be held from December 6 until 10 in Bangkok, Thailand.
President Pakistan Mixed Martial Arts Federation (PMMAF) Zulfiqar Ali confirmed on Sunday that Asim Khan and Shahzaib also would represent the country in the event.
“Initially, we had planned to send seven males and as many female athletes to participate in the championship but due to scarcity of funds. we have decided to send only four athletes now. Namely Shahzaib, Asim Khan, Dawood Jan & Abdul Rehman and Imran Qasim will be the Team Coach.
“Everyone is training really hard for the championship. We have also arranged for the best possible training for the athletes.”
“The World Championship represents one of the highest levels of competition which an athlete of fighter can perform in.
President PMMAF said he was sure that “Shahzaib and Asim are in good shape. Them performance have been up to the mark.
