Punjab Muaythai Association election conducted in Lahore.
The Elective General Council meeting of Punjab Muaythai Association was held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 6th January, 2024.
All Divisional Muaythai representatives from Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Gujrat, Sargodha, Faisalabad, DG Khan, Sahiwal and Multan participated in the meeting. Observers from Sports Board Punjab and Punjab Olympic Association were present to ensure fair elections.
The house elected the office bearers of PMA as follows:
Chairman: Capt (r) Rana Mudassar Riaz
President: Dr. Naseeb Ullah Khan
Senior Vice President: Khawaja Idrees Haider
Vice President: Nasir Khan
Vice President: Shereen Fatima
Vice President: Muhammad Imran
Secretary General: Rehan Hameed
Secretary Finance: Liaqat Ali Butt
Joint Secretary: Muhammad Ishtiaq
Associate Secretary: Seema Khan
Associate Secretary: Ghulam Ghous
Associate Secretary: Haji Ansar Iqbal
The house also decided to organize the Punjab Open Muaythai Championship, Punjab Inter-Division Championship, Multiple Technical Official courses for Referees and Judges, and Coaching courses for capacity building of Muaythai Coaches in Punjab.
