In the 10th match of PSL 9, Karachi Kings defeated Lahore Qalandars by 2 wickets after a thrilling match, this is the second victory of Karachi Kings in the event, while Qalandars have suffered their fourth defeat in a row.
In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Karachi Kings achieved the target of 176 runs given by Lahore Qalandars at the loss of 8 wickets on the last ball.
Kieron Pollard played a brilliant innings of 58 runs, his innings included one four and five sixes while Shoaib Malik stood out with 39 runs.
Captain Shan Masood was run out after scoring 10 runs, Mohammad Akhlaq returned to the pavilion after scoring 7 runs, James Vince was dismissed for 8 runs by Ahsan Hafeez.
Mohammad Nawaz got out after scoring 15 runs, Irfan Niazi remained not out after scoring 13 runs, Hasan Ali scored 9 runs and was the target of Hasan Hafeez.
On behalf of Lahore Qalandars, Zaman Khan and Hasan Ali got two wickets each, Shaheen Afridi, Jehandad Khan and Haris Rauf got one wicket each.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars had scored 175 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted overs and had given Karachi Kings a target of 176 runs to win.
Sahibzada Farhan played a responsible innings of 72 runs, van der Dusen was prominent by scoring 26 runs. George Linde was not out by scoring 26 runs off 13 balls. Opener Fakhar Zaman returned to the pavilion after scoring 6 runs.
Ahsan Hafeez was hit by Hasan Ali by scoring 8 runs, Jahandad Khan was bowled by Mir Hamza for 12 runs. Shai Hope was dismissed for 21 runs, Sikandar Raza returned to the pavilion without scoring a run.
On behalf of Karachi Kings, Mir Hamza, Hasan Ali and Tabriz Shamsi took two wickets each.
