In the 11th match of the ninth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators by 13 runs.

Quetta Gladiators won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first. Playing first, Multan Sultans set Quetta Gladiators a target of 181 runs to win in the allotted 20 overs.

In pursuit of the target, the Quetta Gladiators team suffered from difficulties from the beginning and could score only 167 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

On behalf of Quetta Gladiators, Khawaja Nafi scored 36 runs, captain Riley Russo scored 30 runs, Saud Shakeel scored 24 runs, while Sharafeen Rutherford scored 21 runs, Jason Roy, Muhammad Amir and Abrar Ahmed scored 12, 12 runs each, Sajjad Ali 2, Muhammad Wasim scored only 1 run while Aqeel Hussain scored 9 and remained not out.

On behalf of Multan Sultans, Muhammad Ali and David Valli sent 3, 3 players to the pavilion while Aftab Ibrahim sent 2 and Osama Mir one player to the pavilion.

Earlier, Multan Sultans scored 180 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs while Multan Sultans remained unbeaten with 72 and captain Muhammad Rizwan with 51 runs while Usman Khan scored 14 runs, Tayyab Tahir 35. And Khushdil Shah remained not out with 1 run while Iftikhar Ahmed returned to the pavilion without scoring a run.

On behalf of Quetta Gladiators, Mohammad Amir guided 2 players to the pavilion while Aqeel Hussain and Abrar Ahmed got one wicket each.
