HBL PSL 9 ; Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars by 8 runs

In the 12th match of PSL, in pursuit of the target of 212 given by Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandars could score 203 runs for 6 wickets and thus they had to lose by 8 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi scored 211 runs for 4 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs, Saeem Ayub scored 88 runs off 55 balls.
Babar Azam 48, Romain Powell made 46 runs. Mohammad Haris 12 and Asif Ali played an innings of 6 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi got 3 wickets, Jehandad Khan guided a player to the pavilion.

In response, the team of Lahore Qalandars managed to score 203 runs. Vanderdusen scored the first century of PSL 9, Vanderdusen played an unbeaten innings of 105 runs off 52 balls.

Shai Hope 29, Ahsan Hafeez 20 and Sahibzad Farhan scored 15 runs, Naveen Haque got 2 wickets from Peshawar Zalmi.

Lahore Qalandars have not got any victory till now in the current edition of PSL while Peshawar Zalmi have won only one match against Multan Sultans out of the three matches played.
On the points table, Peshawar Zalmi is at the fifth position with two points while Lahore Qalandars have no points.
