Sindh Games Sepaktakarw event :Karachi Clinch men’s Trophy while Mirpurkhas lifts Women’s title

Karachi : Sepaktakarw event in 18th Sindh Games 2024 was held at North Karachi Gymkhana on February 24 and 25. The chief guest of the opening ceremony of the championship was President of People’s Youth Organization District Central Jawad ul Hasan while the Chief guest of the closing ceremony was Former Test cricketer legendary Tauseef Ahmed and the president of Naya Nazimbad Sports Complex, Syed Muhammad Talha.

In the men’s event, Karachi division won first, Benazirabad second and Hyderabad third position, while in the women’s competition, MirpurKhas won first, Karachi second and Hyderabad third position.

Pakistan Sepaktakarw Federation Secretary General Noushad Ahmed Khan, Chairman Sindh Sepaktakarw Association Dr. Muhammad Arif Hafeez, President Shabbir Ahmed, Event Manager Rehana Asif, RCAK Zone III Secretary Afzal Qureshi, Sindh Olympic Association Rafat Jahan,

Majida Hameed, DSO Benazirabad Abdul Rahim, Asghar Hussain, referees Tahira Yasmin, Ali Gohar, Zulfiqar Ali and other guests were also present. Speaking at the closing ceremony, Test cricketer Tauseef Ahmed said that today I am feel happy that I am present at the Sepaktakarw event in the Sindh Games.

He praised the performance of Karachi’s men’s team in the final.He further said that I will advise the Sindh government to provide maximum facilities to the players,Tauseef Ahmad also appreciated the efforts of the organizers of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Muhammad Talha said that I have seen Sepaktakarw game for the first time today. Women’s competition in the final was very good. I congratulate him for defeating the strong team of Karachi. He further said that if you hold Sepaktakarw event in Naya Nazimabad, we will provide all possible support.

In the end, Chairman Sindh Sepaktakarw Association Dr. Muhammad Arif Hafeez thanked the players, officials, organizers and Chief guests and congratulated them on the successful event.
