The 4th Chairman POF Board National Ranking Tennis Tournament has started.

Shafiq Ahmed, Member POF Board and Director Industrial Commercial Relations was the Chief Guest of the inauguration ceremony

4th Chairman POF Board, National Ranking Tennis Tournament has begun. Shafiq Ahmed, Member POF Board & Director Industrial Commercial Relations graced the opening ceremony as chief guest. Chief Guest was introduced to Players and Officials of the tournament.

Tournament is being organized by POF Sports Control Board and Pakistan Tennis Federation. Top ranking male/female players are participating in contests during the tournament.

In opening matches, Men’s Single Category Abdullah Adnan beat Aqib Hayyat with 6-1, 6-2, Zalan Khan beat Ali Zain with 4-6, 6-3,6-4. Barkat Ullah beat Aziz Khan 6-2, 6-1,

Saqib Hayyat beat Muhammad Salaar with 6-4, 6-0. Yousaf Khalil beat Moavia Butt with 6-3, 6-3. Jibbran ul Haq beat Shahsawar Khan 6-2, 6-3.

In under 18 category Ali Zain beat Shahsawar Khan with 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. Inam Qadir beat Abdul Basit with
6-4, 5-7, 7-6(5), Muhammad Yahya beat Abdaar Ali with 6-0, 6-0.

In under 14 category Abdaar Aali beat Muhammmad Ibrahim Gill with 5-3, 4-0. Muhammad Shakib beat M Ahsan Bari with 4-0, 4-0.

Tournament’s Semi-Finals and Finals will be played on 8th & 9th March. Matches are being played at POF Tennis Complex till 9th March 2024.
