SJAS win women’s day international Badminton championship
The exhibition match between international players Nosheen and Amara added to the excitement of the event.

KARACHI: To commemorate the International Women’s Day, a Badminton championship was organised by the Sports Journalists Association of Sindh (SJAS) at the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) sports complex.
Kulsoom Jehan, Sana Arif, Shafaq, Shabana, Muniba, Areesha, Sara and Bushra represented SJAS team in Singles and Doubles events.
The Single’s event was won by SJAS by 4-1 while team SJAS were victorious in the Doubles’ event too by 3-2.
In the end, an exhibition match was also held between two national players Nausheen and Ammara.
Safia Murtaza, head of HR, KPT was the chief guest who distributed the trophies and medals amongst the players.
