Karachi: The inaugural Union Club – Essity Tennis Championship concludes at the hard courts of Union Club. Mr. Shafiq Ahmed , Finance Manager Essity Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd. was the chief guest at the Closing Ceremony.

In his speech Shafiq Ahmed emphasized on the need to generate more and more physical sports activities for the youth of country for the wellbeing of society.

Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, President Karachi Tennis Association , Thanked Sponsor for supporting tennis , He also thanked Union Club for allowing KTA to hold the tournament at Union Club.

In his speech he highlighted the performance of Karachi Division’s Tennis Teams Male and Female, which performed excellently in 18th Sindh Games, He also thanked all the guests from various walks of life who graced the Closing Ceremony.

KTA also awarded Excellence Trophies to the Karachi Division’s 18th Sindh Games tennis Gold and Silver medalists, One performance Shield was presented to Fida Hussain Pakistan,s Number One Wheelchair Tennis Player who won all the five additions of Commissioner Karachi Marathons wheelchair races.

KTA also presented shields of recognitions to Saeed Ahmed, Naila Jawad, and Naseem Bukhari for their contributions to promote tennis in country,
