Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announces a cash prize of Rs five lakh for the karate star

Pakistan karate star Rizwan Ali, who outplayed India’s Pawan Gupta in the Karate Combat 45 competition in Dubai, called on Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar at National Hockey Stadium on Monday.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar announced a cash prize of Rs five lakh for the karate star. He also congratulated Rizwan Ali for winning memorable encounter against strong Indian opponent Pawan Gupta.

Talking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that international coach will be invited to Pakistan for world class training of Rizwan. “Besides this, best sports facilities will be provided to Rizwan for his future international karate competitions”.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Sports Board Punjab is taking effective measures for the development of sports and the sports competitions will be organised from the union council level to the provincial level to provide maximum playing opportunities to potential youth of the province.
