Peshawar: Initiative Launched to Promote Traditional Archery and Discover New Talent

PESHAWAR: Sarfaraz Khan, Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Archery Association, has launched an excellent initiative to promote the traditional sport of archery and discover new talent.

Under this initiative, archery clubs will be established at various locations and educational institutions throughout the province, including Peshawar. Qualified coaches will be appointed to these clubs to integrate new talent into significant projects.

Sarfaraz Khan expressed these views while speaking to the media. He stated that under the auspices of the Pakistan Archery Federation, efforts are being made to promote archery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He mentioned that archery clubs in Peshawar and other parts of the province have been equipped with necessary equipment, and athletes are receiving daily training at these clubs.

Furthermore, he emphasized that while there is an abundance of talent in the country, the support and provision of basic resources from the provincial government are essential and currently lacking.
