Inter Club Boxing Championship Concludes in Peshawar
PESHAWAR: The Inter Club Boxing Championship organized by the Peshawar Division Boxing Association has successfully concluded. Both male and female boxers participated in this championship, showcasing impressive skills and sportsmanship.
The Raja Boxing Club emerged as the top winner, clinching the first position. PSB Boxing Academy secured the second position, while Eagle Boxing Academy took third place.
The closing ceremony was graced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Women’s Wing President Rahm Bibi, who was the chief guest. She presented medals and trophies to the victorious players.
The event was also attended by Muhammad Younis Pathan from the Pakistan Boxing Federation, Muhammad Akmal Khan, Chairman of the Boxing Championship Organizing Committee, along with Secretary Khizerullah and Ajmal Khan.
The championship saw active participation from more than 23 clubs, with competitions held over two days at the Boxing Arena of Qayyum Stadium. Various weight categories were contested, and the athletes displayed commendable performances.
Raja Boxing Club secured the first position with an impressive haul of two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal. PSB Boxing Academy followed in second place with three silver and two bronze medals. Eagle Boxing Academy earned the third position with three gold and two bronze medals.
During the closing ceremony, President Rahm Bibi expressed her admiration for the athletes and awarded medals and trophies to those who excelled. The presence of notable figures such as Muhammad Younis Pathan, Muhammad Ajmal Khan, and Secretary Khaizrullah added to the event’s prestige.
The championship highlighted the dedication and talent of the boxers from Peshawar and surrounding regions, marking another successful event in the local boxing calendar.
