2nd Wheelchair Tennis Coaching Camp in Mirpurkhas
Under the auspices of Pakistan Tennis Federation, The Mirpurkhas Tennis Association is organizing a month long Wheelchair Tennis Coaching Camp at Citizen Gymkhana Mirpurkhas and being held under the ITF Wheelchair Tennis Development Program.
One Such long duration 4 months camp was also held in Mirpurkhas during September – December 2023.
Gulistan- e- Mazooreen Mirpurkhas and the Management of Citizen Gymkhana are supporting this camp.

Vice president Pakistan Tennis Federation & Member Wheelchair Tennis Committee, Asian Tennis Federation inaugurated the Camp. In his address at Opening Ceremony, announced to hold one more such Camp in Mirpurkhas in October 2024 as well.
He invited two top wheelchair Tennis Players of Mirpurkhas to take part in the National Wheelchair Tennis Event in Karachi later this year. He informed the gathering that the equipment’s , net , Rackets etc, and 4 wheelchairs are sent to Mirpurkhas by Pakistan Tennis Federation ,
Its President Aisamul Haq Qureshi also offered his best wishes for the participants and MPK Tennis Association.
Maj. Masroor, President MPK Tennis Association welcomed the strong 10 , officials delegation of STA which joined the inauguration ceremony in such hot weather from Karachi.
Mr. Jameel , secretary Citizen Gymkhana , offered free of charge tennis courts at the venue , for all tennis activities under Mirpurkhas Tennis Association .
Qamruddin , Wheelchair Player , Vice President MPK Tennis and president Gulistan e Maazooreen Mirpurkhas also spoke at the ceremony.
Nawab Muzaffer , Secretary Mirpurkhas Tennis Association is working as the Coach of Camp.
Sindh Tennis Association’s officials besides Muhammad Khalid Rehmani, Sarwar Hussain ,
Humera Qazi , Perween Akhter, Farha Riaz, Erum Bukhari, Ishrat Zehra, Raisa Ashfaq , Fahmida Zamir & Iqbal Ahmed . were part of the Karachi , STA delegation which attended the inauguration ceremony.
Ms. Aisha Shahzadi Khaskheli , Ms. Sarwt Ashraf of Mirpurkhas Tennis Association & many noteworthy Rotarians were also. present.
