regarding the identification of land for establishing sports development projects

Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal presided over an important meeting regarding the identification of land for establishing sports development projects at the National Hockey Stadium on Friday.
Director Admin M Kaleem, Director Youth Affairs Rana Nadeem Anjum, Project Director Project Management Unit (PMU) Qaiser Raza attended the meeting in person while all Divisional and District Sports Officers of the province participated in the meeting through video link.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal, during the meeting, directed the officers concerned to identify the suitable land for constructing sports development schemes as soon as possible.
Addressing the meeting, Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that new sports schemes will be constructed across the Punjab province under ‘Khailta Punjab’ campaign. “The sports schemes which are presenting deserted look due to negligence of past authorities are being restored to the actual shape,” he added.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal further said that effective steps are being taken for the development of sports across the province under the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
“Development of sports culture among the younger generation across the province is our mission and in this regard we are going to launch the best sports infrastructure in the whole of Punjab province,” he elaborated.
Director General Sports Punjab Pervez Iqbal said that the talented youth of the province will get plenty of playing opportunities after the completion of new sports development projects. “Sports Board Punjab will continue to take all essential measures for the growth of games trend among the youth of the province”
