Karachi (Sports Reporter) KDA Sports clinched First Shaheed Usman Ghani Memorial Cricket Tournament title when they beat Abu Rehan Cricket Club by 104 runs in the final here at NED University Ground.the tournament is being organized by Al Karam Sports with the Collaboration of Sports Department Government of Sindh.
Minister of Local Government of Sindh Saeed Ghani, is son of Shaheed Usman Ghani, this tournament was organized in his memory.Saeed Ghani Sahab was supposed to gracious his honour able presence in the final as a Chief guest but he would not came due to some emergency but he sent a video message in which he said that” I would like to congratulate Al-Karam Sports Secretary Arif Hafeez and the organizing committee,
whose tireless hard work and planning made this tournament a huge success and we got to see a lot of quality cricket. If we want to attract them, we have to promote sports and patronize them. Later, a prize distribution ceremony was also held in which Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Sindh Jalaluddin Mahar and legendary Test cricketer Touseef Ahmed were the Chief guests.
Jalaluddin Mahar said that during the tournament, the players showed the best game for which they deserve to be congratulated.we must attracting youth towards sports along with education.It is a positive process. Test cricketer Touseef Ahmad said that I congratulate KDA for winning the tournament,
such tournaments should be held regularly so that the players will get benefit and club cricket gets a boost. Director Physical Education Batool Kazim performed the administrative duties.On this occasion,

Ayaz Munshi, Riaz Baloch, General Secretary of Pakistan Sports Writers Federation Asghar Azeem, Shahroz Alvi, Muhammad Rizwan and others were also present. Earlier, in the final played at NED University ground, KDA Sports Batting first, scored 222 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Gulzar Ali scored 88 runs, Saifullah Bangash scored 48 runs and Farhan Shah scored 32 runs. Aurangzeb Ahmed took 4 wickets while Samir Alam took 2 wickets.
In reply, Abu Rehan C C got out by scoring 118 runs in 19.3 overs. Aurangzeb Ahmed scored 30 runs and Aish Malik scored 27 runs. Farhan Shah took 3 wickets and Muhammad Umar Captured 2 wickets.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Jalaluddin Mahar and test cricketer Touseef Ahmed distributed the prizes among the players. Gulzar Ali was declared as the man of the match. while the winner trophy was received by KDA Skipper Butt Khan and the runner-up trophy was received by Shoaib Jamal, captain of Abu Rehan Cricket Club.
