Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gymnastics Team Announced for National Championship in Lahore
PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team for the upcoming National Gymnastics Championship in Lahore has been officially announced. The announcement followed a rigorous selection process conducted at the Gymnastics Academy in Peshawar Sports Complex under the guidance of Provincial Gymnastics Association President Aamir Sabir Advocate, Senior Vice President Shahnila Idris, and Secretary Muhammad Raja.
Athletes from various districts, including Peshawar, Mardan, and Swat, participated in the trials. The selected team members include Yahya Khan and Adnan from Peshawar, Saddam and Ahmed from Mardan, Amirullah from Peshawar, and Mansoor from Swat.
In a statement, Aamir Sabir Advocate emphasized the association’s commitment to supporting gymnasts and promoting the sport throughout the province. He instructed all regional associations to organize more competitions and assured them of the Provincial Gymnastics Association’s full support.
The newly formed team, representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is set to showcase their skills at the National Championship in Lahore.
