4th Inter-Departmental National Boxing Championship to be Held in Abbottabad from August 25-31
PESHAWAR: The 4th Inter-Departmental National Boxing Championship will take place in Abbottabad from August 25 to 31, featuring athletes from teams affiliated with the Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF).
The championship, organized under the aegis of the PBF, will see participation from prominent departments including Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Pakistan Railways, Police, Karachi Port Trust (KPT), and the Higher Education Commission (HEC), among others.
According to a letter issued by the Pakistan Boxing Federation, the organizing committee for the championship will be chaired by PBF Executive Vice President Muhammad Asghar Khan.
The committee members include Major Irfan Younis, Secretary General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Boxing Association Khizar Ullah Jan, Chairman of Pakistan Boxing Athlete Commission Owais Ali Khan, and Major (Retd) Muhammad Riaz. Preparations for the event are already underway.
