Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi Says; Great talent will come from Champions One Day Cup 2024

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the schedule of Champions ODI Cup 2024.. The Champions ODI Cup tournament 2024. will be played from September 12 to 29 at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.
The 150 best cricketers will participate in the Champions One Day Cup, the opening match will be played between Panthers and Wolves, the Champions One Day Cup tournament of fifty,
50 overs will be played on a single league basis, and the match will start at 9:30 am on September 16, while all remaining matches will start at 3:00 p.m.
Champions One Day Cup teams will be Stallions, Dolphins, Wolves, Panthers and Lions.
Pakistan Cricket Board has announced 5 champion mentors which include Waqar Younis, Misbah-ul-Haq, Saqlain Mushtaq, Shoaib Malik and Sarfraz Ahmed.
It should be noted that PCB will pay Rs, 50 lakh per annum to all the five mentors under the 3-year contract. Pakistan Cricket Board hopes to acquire new talent with the help of former stars. Thus, in three years, every former star will be able to get one and a half crore rupees.
The PCB says the role of the mentors is to identify and natural talent, with each Champions Cup team having a 10-member supporting staff. They include head coach, vice coach, manager and others.

Great talent will come, after that we will have the record, we will have a pool of 150 players from the Champions ODI Cup and after that the selection committee who has to come and go will do everything very patiently with us. Up-players will come whose performance will be selected.
