KP Athletes to Begin Training Camp for Peshawar Inter-Division Pakistan Global Taekwondo Championship
PESHAWAR: Under the supervision of the Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Global) Taekwondo Association will host the Inter-Division Pakistan Global Taekwondo Championship on September 21. In preparation for the event, a special training camp will be held from September 2 to 17, offering athletes free training.
On the directives of Pakistan Global Taekwondo Federation President Muhammad Nabil and Secretary-General Masood Khan, qualified coaches under the supervision of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Global) Taekwondo Association President Muhammad Ali and Secretary-General Ala Gul Afridi will provide training to athletes, incorporating the latest rules and modern techniques.
According to the federation’s spokesperson, this is the first time that a free training camp has been organized for Taekwondo athletes, with the goal of maximizing junior participation to identify top talent at the grassroots level.
The spokesperson further noted that the Inter-Division Pakistan Global Taekwondo Championship will take place on September 21 at Peshawar’s Hayatabad Sports Complex, where athletes from across the province will showcase their skills. It is also announced that registration for the championship will be open until September 15.
