International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test Player Rankings.
Pakistani batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been promoted one level each.
According to the ongoing ranking of Test players by the ICC, England’s Joe Root is still at the first place and England’s Harry Brooke has moved up 7 places to the 12th place.
After the series against Sri Lanka, the ranking of England’s batsmen has improved. According to the ranking, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan has moved up from 10th to 9th place and Babar Azam has moved up from 12th to 11th place.
In the ranking, Sri Lanka’s commandos have moved up 6 places to 19th place. In the ranking of Test bowlers, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin is number one.
In the ranking of bowlers, Shaheen Shah Afridi of Pakistan has come to the top 10 after advancing by one rank. India’s Ravindra Jadeja has retained his first place in Test all-rounders.
