Rawalpindi Physical Disability Team won the fourth match of Shahid Afridi Foundation National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade 2 thanks to Muhammad Arsalan’s unbeaten 168-run record storming innings.
Shahid Afridi Foundation and Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association in collaboration with the Army Cricket Ground Pindi in the Grade 2 stage, the Azad Kashmir PD team faced a huge defeat by a huge margin of 155 runs.
Playing first in the match, the team of Rawalpindi PD made a Himalayan score of 260 for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Muhammad Arsalan made a very aggressive century of 168 runs off 70 balls with the help of 28 beautiful fours and 5 sixes, while Hudifah Khan hit 7 fours and a six in 40 runs off 24 balls.
On behalf of Azad Kashmir PD, Shaukat Ali got 2 wickets by giving 36 runs while Muhammad Kamran took 1 wicket. In reply, Azad Kashmir team managed to score 105 runs for 7 wickets.
Javed Hussain scored 38 not out with the help of 5 fours off 46 balls. Mohammad Imtiaz hit 4 fours in 22 runs not out.
On behalf of the winning team, Muhammad Asim bowled devastatingly and bowled 3 wickets for 24 runs, Bilal Azeem and Qayyum Khan took 2 wickets each.
The Chief Guest, President Greenland Cricket Club Ghulam Mustafa and Karachi Kings player Zeesha Malik declared the winning team Rawalpindi PD’s Muhammad Arsalan as the player of the match for scoring an unbeaten record offensive 168 runs.
