International-Standard Hockey Turf Installed in Bunair
Bunair A significant boost to hockey development in Bunir was achieved with the recent installation of an international-standard hockey turf in the area.
The establishment of this turf was made possible through the tireless efforts of Dr. Liaquat, the representative of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
The Bunir Hockey Association warmly welcomed the new hockey turf, recognizing its immense benefits for local hockey players. Dr. Liaquat Ali, from the association, emphasized that the turf would provide an excellent platform for players to practice and improve their skills.
The association expressed gratitude to Sports Advisor Syed Fakhar Jahan and the KP Sports Directorate and provincial hockey president syed zahir shah for Hockey Turf for their instrumental role in ensuring the turf’s establishment.
Dr. Ali highlighted that the availability of an international-quality hockey turf would now enable local players to experience the same playing conditions as professional athletes.
Moreover, the association expressed its commitment to providing opportunities for children to play hockey on the new turf, fostering the development of young talent and encouraging more individuals to join the sport.
