The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee (NC), led by Chairperson Haroon Ahmed Malik and NC members Muhammad Shahid Niaz Khokhar, Saud Hashimi and Haris Azmat, is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the PFF Provincial and Territorial Elections, marking the step towards completing the electoral roadmap laid out under the supervision of FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Chairperson Haroon Malik addressed the media, highlighting the professionalism and diligence with which the PFF NC has conducted these elections. “The Provincial Elections are a key milestone in our mandate to restore elected football governance in Pakistan. From the very beginning, the PFF NC ensured a fair and transparent process, starting with the historic scrutiny of clubs, followed by the District elections, and culminating in these Provincial elections. We appreciate the trust and participation, received from the football community across the country.”
The NC Chairman said that the PFF NC successfully organized and validated club participation through the All Pakistan District Championship (APDC). The scrutiny phase was a fundamental step in ensuring that only genuine football stakeholders were involved in the electoral process.
Haroon Malik further said: “Beyond our core mandate of elections, the PFF NC demonstrated remarkable leadership in managing Pakistan football’s broader operations. From hosting the men’s national team’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers at home and away to ensuring the national women’s team’s participation in both domestic and international tournaments, the Normalisation Committee has maintained a professional standard across all activities. Moreover, the organization of futsal events, and the execution of courses for coaches and referees, further emphasized the PFF NC’s commitment to the development of football at all levels.”
Member of the PFF Normalization Committee (NC), Shahid Khokhar, outlined the next key steps in the committee’s roadmap, highlighting two critical tasks: the formation of the PFF Congress, which is vital for establishing a representative and effective football governing body, and the elections for the PFF Executive Committee, marking the final phase of the normalization process to restore full governance to elected officials.
Shahid Khokhar expressed his appreciation for the community and highlighted the celebrations held in honor of their success in the district and provincial elections.
The NC Chief and members thanked the football community and the media for their support and cooperation throughout this journey.
