done In the Grade 2 phase at Army Cricket Ground Rawalpindi in collaboration with Shahid Afridi Foundation and Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association, KPK Stars PD team had to taste defeat in their second match by 19 runs after winning their first match.
In the fifth match of the event played, the winning team Rawalpindi PD batted first and the entire team got out by scoring 127 runs 3 balls before the scheduled 20 overs.
Mohammad Tahir scored 39 runs off 32 balls with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes while batting well, Kashif Javed hit 4 fours in 22 runs while Huzaifa added 14 runs.
Arbab Shakir dismissed 3 players for 28 runs, while Israr and Asad Shinwari took 2 wickets each. In response, KPK Stars PD team chased the target of 128 runs.
The whole team was bundled out for 108 runs in the 17th overs. Ishaq Ahmed’s aggressive innings of 3 fours and 5 fours and 2 sixes off 32 balls went in vain, Shakeel Afridi hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in 30 runs off 33 balls. Left arm spinner Abdul Basit on behalf of Rawalpindi PD sent 4 players back to pavilion for 30 runs, Bilal Azim took 2 wickets for 13 runs.
