Babar Azam resigned the captaincy of ODI cricket team
Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan’s white ball cricket team, has resigned from the captaincy.
Babar Azam issued a statement on X and said that I have decided to resign from the captaincy of the Pakistan team.
I want to focus on my role as a player and spend time with my family. He said, “I feel proud of what I have achieved so far. Captaincy was a good experience but the workload increased.”
I informed the PCB management last month about my decision to step down as captain, now it’s time for me to fully focus on my game.
