Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gymnastics Team Announced for National Championship in Karachi

The names of the athletes representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the upcoming National Gymnastics Championship in Karachi have been officially announced.
The selection process included trials held in which male and female gymnasts from Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, D.I. Khan, Bannu, Charsadda, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swat, and other districts participated.
The trials were supervised by President of the Provincial Gymnastics Association, Advocate Amir Saber, Vice President Shenila Adrees, and Secretary Raja Muhammad. Associate Secretary Shams-ur-Rehman and Coach Adnan also assisted in conducting the trials.
The selection process was carried out transparently, allowing the best-performing athletes to secure their spots on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa teams.
The selection committee announced the boys’ team, which includes Muhammad Yahya, Zaheer, Talha, Rizwan, Aliyan, and Hafeez. For the girls’ team, Maah Roshan, Sameera, Javeria, Ammara, Dua, and Ziman were selected.
During his address to the athletes, President Amir Saber emphasized the continuous improvement in the performance of gymnastics players, stating,
“Thanks to Allah, the performance of our gymnasts is improving day by day. The level of skill displayed during the trials is commendable.” He also highlighted the need for greater governmental support, calling on sports officials to organize provincial-level competitions for gymnastics athletes to further enhance their skills.
