Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s exceptionally talented female judo athlete, Malaika Noor, has garnered tremendous recognition despite not securing a medal at the World Junior Cadet Judo Championship held in Tajikistan.
Through her outstanding performance, she has proudly elevated the name of her district, Lakki Marwat, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the global stage.
Malaika Noor, one of Pakistan’s most promising judo athletes, squared off against Maria, a European player with a remarkable record. Maria holds a gold medal from the European Judo Cup, a silver from the European Junior Championship, and various other accolades from international competitions.
The contest between Malaika and Maria was nothing short of a thriller, captivating the audience’s attention from start to finish.
Malaika has previously earned a silver medal at the National Judo Championship and a silver at the Quetta National Games. She also claimed a gold medal at the Inter-Provincial Games held in Peshawar. Malaika Noor made history as the first Pakistani female judo player to participate in the prestigious World Junior Cadet Judo Championship.
The Secretary of the Pakistan Judo Federation, Masood Ahmed, expressed great optimism about Malaika’s future. “Malaika Noor is an exceptionally talented athlete, possessing all the qualities of an international-level competitor.
