Chairman PCB announced Rizwan as captain of ODI, T20 for Pakistan team,
(Asghar Ali Mubarak);
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi has announced the appointment of Mohammad Rizwan as Pakistan’s ODI and T20I captain while Salaman Ali Agha will be his deputy. While giving a press conference,
Chairman PCB said that Babar Azam is an asset to our national team and such big players come after a long time, he contacted me and said that I do not want to continue as captain.
He said that many things kept coming up in the middle but no one from PCB had contacted him that you have to leave the leadership, he first consulted the coaches and others and then told me that I am the captain. He doesn’t want to continue working,
he wants to focus more on the game and we all want him to return to his form and give the same performances he has been giving. He said that after Babar’s resignation, we started consulting internally,
I discussed it in detail with all the five mentors and five members of the selection committee, and everyone had a common opinion that after Babar, Rizwan Captain. And Salman Ali Agha should be vice-captain.
Mohsin Naqvi said that this was the decision of the majority of mentors and selection and considering this opinion, I had a detailed discussion with Rizwan yesterday, then I also talked with Salman and we have decided to entrust this leadership to Rizwan and my Best wishes are with them that Allah Ta’ala makes them both,
the whole team and the selectors successful. I believe we have to give opportunities to young talent, respect our domestic cricket and unless we keep bringing our young talent to the fore and stop at one place,
the same results will continue. Chairman PCB while appreciating the selection committee said that the way they have worked hard in the last two Test matches and have been working for two consecutive days, of course the team has also performed but behind this victory is the selection.
The committee has a big hand. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the national team for the tour of Australia and Zimbabwe.
Former captain Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah were dropped after the defeat in the first Test match against England. And now they have been included in the squad for the tour of Australia, but all three players have been rested for the tour of Zimbabwe.

It should be noted that in the tour of Australia from November 4 to 10, Pakistan will play 3 ODIs and from 14 Australia will compete in T20 international matches till November 18.
After the tour of Australia, the national team will go to Zimbabwe where 3 ODI matches are scheduled between the two teams from November 24 to 28, after which 3 T20 matches will be played from December 1 to December 5.
