Rawalpindi PD won the SAF National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade 2 title.

Defeated Quetta Bolan PD by 70 in the final. Mohammad Arsalan was declared off the match after scoring 115 runs in the tournament.

Chief guest National team Mahran Mumtaz and high profile coach Sabih Azhar distributed the prizes. Best batsman Mohammad Arsalan, best bowler Abdul Basit and best fielder Abdullah Khan were declared.

 Rawalpindi (Sports Link) Rawalpindi Physical Disability Team won the title of Shahid Afridi Foundation National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade-2, defeating Quetta Bolan Physical Disability Team by 70 runs in the final.

Organized by Pakistan Physical Disability Cricket Association (PPDCA) and with the support of Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). On the occasion of the prize distribution

ceremony of Shahid Afridi Foundation National Physical Disability T20 Cricket Championship Grade-2, the young cricketer Mehran Mumtaz, a member of the national cricket team who won the historic test series in England by the Pakistani team, was invited by the well-known high-profile coach Sabih Azhar.

President Rawalpindi District along with Naveed Abbasi distributed trophies and other prizes among the finalist teams. Manager Rawalpindi Region Team Khurshid Butt, Regional Head PPDCA Balochistan Aslam Barich,

Regional Head Lahore and Sialkot Javed Ashraf and Regional Head Rawalpindi Syed Rafi Hashmi were also present. The winner trophy of the event was given to Rawalpindi PD captain Kashif Ahmed while the runner-up trophy was given to Quetta Bolan captain Abdul Hadi.

While the man of the match and best batsman Muhammad Arsalan, best bowler Abdul Basit and best fielder Abdullah Khan were awarded in the final.On this occasion, Chief Guest Mehran Mumtaz and Sabih Azhar in their short speech congratulated the Rawalpindi PD team and head coach Syed Rafi Hashmi for winning the championship.

He paid great tribute to the services for the promotion of ability cricket. He further said that we cricketers of Pakistan learn a lot from you and show a wonderful game despite all of them.

I know disability cricketers very closely. Rawalpindi team head coach Syed Rafi Hashmi, regional head Lahore and Sialkot Javed Ashraf, regional pad Balochistan Aslam Bardich and others were also present on this occasion.

In the final match played at the Army Cricket Ground Rawalpindi in a rain-affected match, Quetta Nolan PD captain won the toss and decided to bowl first,

while Rawalpindi PD scored 190 runs without the loss of any wicket in the allotted 15 overs. On the Rawalpindi side, Mohammad Arsalan, continuing his brilliant batting streak in the tournament,

scored his second aggressive unbeaten century of 115 runs off 57 balls with the help of 16 powerful fours and 2 blistering sixes.

He also hit 10 beautiful fours and 3 brilliant sixes in an excellent innings of 72 runs while remaining not out. In reply, Quetta Bolan PD managed to score 120 runs after losing 5 wickets in the allotted 15 overs.

Siraj Khan while batting aggressively hit 7 charming fours and 6 towering sixes in 79 runs off 45 balls, besides Amir Habib hit 3 fours in 28 runs. Abdul Basit and Aamir Sohail took two wickets each.
