Pakistan beat Zimbabwe to win ODI series

Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 99 runs in the third and deciding ODI match to win the three-match series 1-2. In the match being played in Bulawayo, Captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and decided to bat.
Pakistan set a target of 304 runs thanks to Kamran Ghulam’s century and Abdullah Shafiq’s half-century, in response to which the entire Zimbabwe team was bundled out for 204 runs.
Openers Abdullah Shafiq and Saim Ayub gave the team a confident start and built a partnership of 58 runs, on this occasion Saim Ayub, who scored a century in the second match, ended his innings and returned to the pavilion after scoring 31 runs.
On this occasion, Kamran Ghulam came to the crease to support Abdullah and both of them took the team’s total to 112 runs, after which Abdullah Shafiq’s excellent innings of 50 runs came to an end.
After this, Kamran Ghulam and Captain Muhammad Rizwan took the team’s score forward, during which Kamran Ghulam completed his century.
He was dismissed after playing a brilliant innings of 103 runs in 99 balls with the help of 10 fours and four sixes, while Muhammad Rizwan returned to the pavilion after scoring 37 and Salman Aghaz scored 30 runs.
Thus, Pakistan scored 303 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated overs. For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarua took 2 wickets each, while Faraz Akram and Blessing Mozarabani took one wicket each.
In pursuit of the target, the entire Zimbabwe team was dismissed for 204 runs, Craig Irvine stood out by scoring 51 runs, apart from them, no batsman could show a significant performance.
For Pakistan, Saim Ayub, Abrar Ahmed, Aamir Jamal and Haris Rauf took 2 wickets each, while Faisal Akram and Kamran Ghulam took one wicket each. Kamran Ghulam was named the player of the match for scoring a brilliant century, while opener Saeb Ayub was named the man of the series.
Speaking after the match, Captain Mohammad Rizwan said that he is proud to have won the ODI series, the public has high expectations from us, we also defeated Australia, as professional cricketers we showed the best game.
He said that we never took the pressure of the match situation and circumstances, we are professional cricketers and we have to perform in all conditions.
No changes were made to the national team for the last one-day match and the team from the second match was maintained. Both teams for the last match of the series consisted of these players.
