PESHAWAR: Young cricketer Muhammad Rehan Zahid, a talented right-arm fast bowler from the Maazullah Khan Cricket Academy, has made a significant impact in a short period, showcasing his exceptional skills. In just four friendly matches, Rehan has taken an impressive 12 wickets, underlining his potential as a rising star in the cricketing world.
Speaking about his aspirations, Muhammad Rehan expressed his commitment to representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan on the global stage. “It is my ultimate goal to make my province and country proud in cricket,” he said.
Rehan is currently receiving rigorous training at the Maazullah Khan Cricket Academy in Peshawar Cantt under the mentorship of seasoned coaches Irfanuddin Babu and Parvez Khan. Their expert guidance has been instrumental in refining his skills, with visible improvement in his game every day.
Coach Irfanuddin Babu praised Rehan’s natural abilities, calling him a player destined for great heights. “This young cricketer is blessed with immense talent,” Irfan said. “InshaAllah, it won’t be long before we see him representing Pakistan in international cricket as part of the national team.”
