The final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2024 will be played between Pakistan and India today. In 2023, the final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup was also played between Pakistan and India, where Pakistan won the silver medal.
Pakistan defeated Japan by 4 goals to 2 to qualify for the final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup. In the first semi-final of the Junior Hockey Asia Cup underway in Oman, there was an interesting match between Pakistan and Japan.
Neither team could score a goal in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Pakistan captain Hanan Shahid scored a goal to give the lead, but Japan’s Tanka Tobasha scored a goal just 3 minutes later to level the match.

However, in the third quarter, Ali Basharat scored in the 38th minute to give Pakistan the lead again, but this time Japan’s Yamanaka scored again to level the match at 2-2. In the 52nd minute, Pakistan got a penalty stroke, on which Sufyan Khan scored to make the match 2-4, which remained until the end of the game.
This was Sufyan Khan’s tenth goal in the Junior Hockey Asia Cup. Later, in the second semi-final, India defeated Malaysia by 3 goals to 1 and qualified for the final.
