Pakistan makes winning start in Australian Football League Asia Cup;
defeats Laos, Thailand

Pakistan made a winning start in the ongoing Australian Football League (AFL) Asia Cup in Vietnam, winning the first two matches of the tournament by a huge margin.
The Pakistan team defeated Laos 85 – 21 in its first match and Thailand 112 – 16 goals in the second match.
The Australian coaches of the Pakistan team,
Michael Gillis, Fareed Ahmed and Irfan Khan, have expressed their expectation that the national team will continue its excellent performance in its upcoming matches and keep the green crescent flag high and Insha Allah, they will bring the Asia Cup to Pakistan once again.
AFL Pakistan Secretary General Chaudhry Zulfiqar Ali hosted a dinner in honor of the national team for its outstanding performance in the Australian Football League Asia Cup and congratulated captain Ahsan Ali and other players on their victorious start in the tournament,
saying that Youth Education and Sports (YES) Welfare Society (Registered) Rawalpindi will award them with valuable prizes for winning the Asia Cup.
AFL Pakistan President Sardar Tariq also congratulated the national team players and officials.
